Collective Purchasing Power
Amicus members have access to an innovative purchasing platform that harnesses economies-of-scale to receive price discounts, cash dividends, favorable credit terms, and manufacturer supply agreements with significant protections for the highest quality equipment. Collectively, we have over $1B in purchasing power. Amicus conducts extensive audits of our manufacturer partners, including financial reviews, factory visits, technical lab testing, customer service track record, product field performance, and feedback from the thousands of designers and installers at Amicus member companies.
Policy Advocacy
With Amicus federal policy representation in Washington D.C., members receive invaluable guidance on climate legislation and trade policies. This includes clear explanations of requirements in the Inflation Reduction Act (e.g., prevailing wages and apprenticeships, bonus tax credits, elective pay, and transferability), as well as minimizing exposure to potential import tariffs while supporting the growth of robust domestic manufacturing. In addition, as a group of small business owners, we understand the importance of amplifying our voices to champion the value of distributed energy resources.
